What we collect
Akshara is designed to collect as little as possible. The game processes:
1. A random device identifier — generated on your device, not linked to your name, phone, email, or any account. 2. Game progress — your level, solved words, and language choice, saved in your browser and backed up against the device identifier so your journey survives reinstalls. 3. Nothing else. No name, contact details, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, analytics profiles, or third-party tracking of any kind. The game shows no ads and embeds no advertising or analytics SDKs.
How it is used and shared
Progress data exists only to restore your game. It is stored with our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare, encrypted in transit) and is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party for their own purposes.
Advertising
Akshara shows a small number of ads through Google AdSense to keep the game free: an occasional ad between levels and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch for hints. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads; where required (for example in the EU/UK), you will be asked for consent and can choose non-personalised ads. Details: how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We do not run any other tracking.
Children
Akshara does not track, profile, or target advertising at anyone — including children. The game is suitable for all ages; the store listing is rated accordingly.
Your rights (including under India's DPDP Act, 2023)
You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your progress data at any time by writing to support@shrinfinity.tech with your journey recovery code (shown in the game's help panel). Erasure requests are honoured within 90 days. You may also simply clear the game's site data in your browser, which removes everything stored locally.
Grievances
Grievance contact: Grievance Officer, Shrinfinity OPC Private Limited — support@shrinfinity.tech. We acknowledge and resolve complaints within the timelines prescribed under applicable Indian law.
Data breaches
In the unlikely event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users in plain language, as required by the DPDP Rules, 2025.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
